32. SUPERB

blue males

fawn females

forwards
 


or backwards

frontwards

 

or to the rear

 

half asleep or wide awake

 
popping out to sun bake

I fall in love with Superb Fairy-wrens hiding behind leaves

or in the middle of trees.

This lady makes the most of sitting on a post

then flits for a bit jumping over bricks.                               

 

I like the blue-tailed juveniles, but really wish they’d stay awhile.

Whether male blue/black 

or female fawn/grey tweeters

they are SUPERB and couldn’t be any sweeter.
