Pea 1 and Pea 2 look up to their mum about 20000 times a day.

We had such warm autumn on the farm, some birds were confused and thought it was spring. Diamond Firetail Finches breed August to January but have already fledged some dainty fellas in mid-winter.

23. TOP OF THE TREE, BOTTOM OF THE BATH

White-winged Choughs are mud nest builders; they are also maniac birds. Mainly black with white under-wings and wing tips, they have a mean curved beak as well. They hang out in family groups of a couple of dozen birds, and the top dog is pushy. Very.
